Rivertowns Schools Make The Top 100, Again

From Rivertowns Patch: Niche.com recently released its 2017 list of the best school districts throughout the nation and in the state of New York, and many familiar districts received high ranks, including Dobbs Ferry, Ardsley, Hastings-on-Hudson and Irvington.

5 Rivertowns Schools Ranked In The Top 100 For NY

Hastings-On-Hudson Schools

According to the annual Niche.com report for 2016, the Ardsley, Dobbs Ferry, Hastings-on-Hudson, Irvington and Tarrytown school districts were ranked among the Top 100 Schools in New York State. The highest ranking Westchester school was Rye, coming in at #2. Ardsley was ranked at #12, Hastings-on-Hudson at #28, Dobbs Ferry at #38, Irvington at #42 and Tarrytown #58.

Rivertowns Schools Score in The NY Top 100

According to Niche.com, a website that runs a ranking and review site, schools in the Westchester County Rivertowns rank among the most highly regarded in the State of New York. Schools were evaluated based on several statistics, as well as parent and student reviews. Amongst Rivertowns schools, Ardsley, Dobbs Ferry, Hastings-on-Hudson and Irvington rank among the NY Top 100. All four schools received A+ grades overall and closer scrutiny of the list reveals only minute differences between them. According to Niche.com, the high rankings are derived from a combination of factors including academics, extracurricular and sports involvement, positive school culture, diversity and overall happiness with all facets of the school experience.
